FREE WORKSHOP: Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day!

Sunday, April 26th, 2026, 11am – 4pm

Join us at Vermont Center for Photography (VCP) for an informal celebration of Worldwide Pinhole Photograph Day (WPPD). Drop in any time from 11 AM to 4 PM on Sunday, April 26th, 2026.

Construct an analog pinhole camera or a pinhole body cap for your digital camera, then head outside to make some photographs with it!

No experience in the darkroom or with making an inkjet print? Not a problem, assistance will be available.

When the event is over, we will collect a photograph from each participant and share it with the world by posting it on the WPPD website (www.pinholeday.org).

Bring a light-tight container if you want to make an analog camera or bring a digital camera with a removable lens and a spare body cap for the camera – VCP will provide the rest! No container or body cap? A limited supply of suitable containers and body caps will be available for a modest charge.

This event is free, but donations to cover the costs of materials are appreciated.
