SUBMIT A WORKSHOP PROPOSAL

Do you have a photographic area of expertise and would be interested in leading a 1-day workshop at VCP? We’d love to hear from you!

We are always looking for new and exciting leads and ideas to add to our educational programming. Whether you are a darkroom guru, digital printing expert, or specialize in another unique/alternative process – we’d love to chat with you about your ideas.

Simply complete the form below with as much information you can provide as possible, and we will review these on a monthly basis. You will be contacted within two weeks with a decision if our Workshop Committee would like to follow up to schedule your proposed workshop. Though we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate your proposal, we will make every effort to do so.

In short, VCP splits registration proceeds 50/50 with instructors and VCP additionally covers all material costs. Contact us for recommendations on workshop cost and class size limits. Typically, workshops run from 10am to 4pm on Sundays, but we will consider any timeframe (half-day, 2-day..etc).

Ideas include darkroom-based workshops, studio lighting, portraiture, matting and framing, tintypes, cyanotypes, Photoshop, Lightroom, Digital Printing, Bookmaking, print toning, web-design for artists, marketing for artists, large format photography, pinhole photography, product photography, multimedia/video, artwork documentation…etc – but ANYTHING is fair game!

Please contact Joshua Farr with any questions at info@vcphoto.org or at 802-251-6051. Thank you!
