Meet VCP’s New Marketing Intern: Jamie McGee
VCP is delighted to announce that we have added a new member to our team for the summer! Jamie comes to us as a senior at UNH in Durham and brings with her a wealth of marketing and social media experience. Although Jamie is originally from Connecticut, she travels to Brattleboro frequently to camp with her family. Jamie loves the area and is so excited to have the opportunity to work where she plays.
Take a look at Jamie’s top five interests to learn more about VCP’s marketing intern:
- Jamie loves to ski! She has been skiing since she was three years old and has not stopped since then. In high school, Jamie became a ski instructor at Mount Snow teaching 4 to 6 year old’s how to ski.
- Jamie plays the trumpet! She started playing in 5th grade and fell in love with music. In high school, Jamie played in the New Milford Marching Band which is where her passion truly evolved. Currently, she plays in the UNH Concert Band.
- Jamie loves to go hiking. Since living in New Hampshire, Jamie has found a love for traveling to the White Mountains for a hike! She has hiked Franconia Notch, Mt. Chacorua, and many others.
- At school, Jamie is involved in the service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. She enjoys helping her community and being a leader in this organization.
- Jamie has found a new love for cycling. The quarantine months led her to purchase a new bike in which she enjoys taking on long morning rides.
Although the vast majority of Jamie’s work will be done remotely, given the challenges of in-person work as of late, we so look forward to working with her to amplify our communication and outreach with our community and membership at large and create more dynamic and engaging online platforms for doling out photo-goodies, including this very blog!
