Ted Weitz

Ted is a photographer based in Winhall VT. Dr. Weitz is a pediatrician and an Emergency Physician. He is the president and CEO of Weitz Emergency Services and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of New England.

Dr. Weitz received his Medical Doctorate from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.  He served in the Israeli Navy as a Combat Marine and Hyperbaric Physician and practiced Emergency Medicine at Hadassah Tel Aviv city Hospital.

Dr. Weitz submitted a Doctoral Dissertation on Dangerous Marine Invertebrate in the Red Sea.  He completed his Pediatric Residency at Albert Einstein Collage of Medicine and a Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Minnesota.  He took graduate studies on Information Technologies at Harvard University and was awarded the National library of Medicine fellowship in Informatics where he developed software to combat medical errors.
