MEMBER EVENT: Private Curator Tour at the MFA, Boston

Sunday, June 14th, 2026 at 11:00am
Open to VCP Members, registration required (see below)

On Sunday, June 14th, Karen Haas, Lane Senior Curator of Photographs at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, has generously offered to lead a small, private group of VCP members on a behind-the-scenes tour of two exhibitions currently on view at the MFA.

Karen Haas, Lane Curator of Photographs

The morning begins with a tour of Framing Nature: Gardens and Imagination — a multidisciplinary exhibition drawn from across the MFA’s global collections, bringing together painting, photography, textiles, ceramics, and more in a meditation on gardens as sites of creativity, culture, and human connection. Following a brief lunch break, Karen will lead the group through Faces in the Crowd: Street Photography, the exhibition she curated — a compelling five-decade survey of street photography. This is a rare opportunity to experience these exhibitions alongside one of the country’s foremost photography curators.
