Insight Photography’s 13th Annual Silent Auction
World-class art photography will be on display and available for bid during the month of October in The In-Sight Photography Project’s annual exhibition and silent auction. This year’s auction holds special significance as In-Sight celebrates 20 years of giving local teens the tools for creative self-expression and encouraging their positive engagement in the community.
“In-Sight has served an important role in southern Vermont for two decades, providing youth the opportunity to develop new perspectives and artistic skills,” said Stephen Dybas, director. “Our 13th Annual Exhibition and Silent Auction will be a celebration of that positive role and will further support our work in the community.”
Over two hundred local, national and international photographers, ranging from established professionals to emerging artists, have donated a wide variety of photographs. Subjects range from portraits to landscapes to experimental techniques, and all artwork in the exhibit is available for silent auction bids on-site, at Vermont Center for Photography, as well as online. Proceeds from the auction will go to the In-Sight Scholarship Fund, providing photography classes for students regardless of their ability to pay.
