Annual 2026 Members’ Exhibition

November 6, 2026 – January 3, 2027

Opening Reception: Friday, November 6th, 5 to 8 pm

Celebrate the breadth and vitality of VCP’s photo community. Our Annual Members’ Exhibition fills the gallery with work from regional photographers of all experience levels – pairing first-time exhibitors with long-time members. Expect a lively mix of traditional darkroom prints, digital photographs, and alternative/experimental processes that span portraiture, landscape, documentary, abstraction, and more.

Join us for the opening reception on Friday, November 6, 5–8pm at VCP, 10 Green Street, Brattleboro. The exhibition is free and open to the public; all ages welcome. Bring a friend, browse the work, and explore our library, darkroom, and PhotoThrift next door.

WANT TO PARTICIPATE?

Submission Specifications

    • You must be a current VCP member to participate. Not a member yet? You can join when you drop off your work.
    • Each member may submit one (1) photograph, any subject, style, or medium.
    • Non-juried — everything submitted goes up on the wall.
    • Work must be framed or mounted and ready to hang, hardware and wire attached — no loose prints, please. 30″ max on the long dimension.
    • Please don’t submit work previously exhibited at VCP.
    • A completed submission form must accompany your piece at drop-off. DOWNLOAD FORM HERE

Important Dates

    • Drop off work at VCP between September 20 and November 1, 2026, during business hours.
    • Shipping instead? Your piece must arrive before November 1st, with a prepaid return shipping label included.
    • The exhibition runs November 6, 2026 through January 3, 2027.
    • Following the exhibit, artists must pick up work at VCP during business hours before January 24, 2027.

Artwork Sales
Work is encouraged to be for sale. Artists keep 60% of the sale price, so please set your retail price accordingly on the submission form.

Liability
While VCP takes reasonable care with all submitted work, we are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to artwork while on our premises or in transit. Artists are encouraged to insure valuable pieces independently.
