DIGITAL LAB

You do not need to be a VCP member to use the digital lab or dakroom. VCP’s publicly accessible digital lab is equipped with high speed fiber optic internet access.

Our spacious 5-station computer lab is fully equipped with everything needed to edit digital files, scan 35mm to 8×10 negatives, and make archival prints on our publicly available printing stations.


VCP’s digital lab includes: 

•  Five 2024 Mac Mini’s (24gb)  with 27” Asus Monitors equipped with Photoshop CC and Lightroom
•  Large-format Epson P7000 printer (24” wide)
•  Epson P900 Archival Inkjet Printer (17” wide)
•  Three Epson V700 scanners for flat art and transparencies/negatives
•  36” Rototrim paper cutter
•  18 x 22” Drymount heat press
•  Flat screen monitor for class instruction 

 


We suggest at least a 24-hour notice before using the digital lab to ensure availability – drop-ins are welcome!

VCP Members:  $7/hour

Non-Members: $14/hour

Rental cost is rounded to the nearest half-hour.

PREMIUM VCP MEMBERSHIP

For $250/year, you can now sign up as a “Premium VCP Member” which gives you all of the normal VCP membership benefits, but instead of paying a discounted hourly rate for use of darkroom and digital lab, Premium Members have unlimited use of the two studio spaces for the whole year! Chemicals in the darkroom and ink in the digital lab are included. Members provide their own digital or darkroom paper. Visit our Membership Page to sign up!
