2019 Annual Members Exhibition

Now in its 21st year, the Vermont Center for Photography presents it 2019 Annual Members Exhibition. From across the northeast, VCP members are invited to submit up to 3 photographs each. VCP’s Director, Joshua Farr, will then select the work to be included in this show for the months of November & December 2019. This unthemed group exhibition will feature a wide variety of photographic processes, subjects, and styles. The opening reception is Friday, November 1st from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. Sales are encouraged to support local and regional artists.

CALL FOR ENTRIES: 2019 Annual Members Exhibition
Exhibit dates: November 1 – December 29, 2019
Reception: Friday, November 1, 2019, 5:30 to 8:30pm

ELIGIBILITY: This Call for Entries is open to all VCP members. There is no entry fee.
Entrants must be current members of the Vermont Center for Photography. VCP invites photographers working in all mediums & styles to participate. Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome. Members may submit up to 3 pieces and each member will have at least one piece chosen for exhibition. Framed images must be no larger than 36” in the longest dimension. Work must be ready to hang.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Work must ARRIVE at VCP no later than Sunday, October 20, 2019.
VCP’s hours are Thurs through Sun, noon to 5pm. If you need to schedule a time outside of those hours to deliver your work, please contact us and we will try to accommodate your needs.
Please be sure to include the following information with each piece:
• Title
• Medium (Archival Pigment Print, Silver Gelatin Print, Cyanotype…etc)
• Price *
* VCP’s default agreement is that sales are split 50/50 with the artist. Alternately, members may choose to donate the proceeds to VCP if sold, or donate the piece itself if unsold.
MAILED SUBMISSIONS:
Artists shipping their work must include return shipping label with package unless you expect to pick-up in person after the exhibition. Please ensure that your delivery will arrive before October 20th.

We will ship return-packages immediately after show so please expect to receive the package soon after the exhibition is over.
SALES: All work accepted for the exhibition must be for sale. VCP will retain a 50% commission on the sale of any work with the option to donate all proceeds to VCP.
USE RIGHTS: Artists maintain copyright on all of their work. In submitting work to this show, artists grant VCP the right to use their images for the purpose of marketing the exhibition and other VCP programs; and for reproduction online, & social media. Artists grant the use of their image(s) as stated without further contact or compensation from VCP. Artist’s recognition is provided with any use. Any questions, please email info@vcphoto.org
