Dreamland: Photographs by Michael Poster
Drilling for natural gas began near Michael’s former home in Montrose, Pennsylvania some time in 2008. Soon after, he began to make pictures of his friends and neighbors. It was clear their lives were about to change dramatically. A few would get rich from lucrative leases and royalties while others would be cheated and sickened by the gas companies. Michael felt compelled to record the community he knew before the lust for fuel transformed their lives.
This exhibition will run from September 5th through September 29th.
ARTISTS TALK: Thursday, September 19th – 6pm – (Details HERE.)
