Phone.tography
In recent years, photography has taken on many new forms with the evolution of the digital world – cell phones and mobile devices in particular. Built-in cameras are becoming increasingly adequate – adding a new twist to how we define photography. Many times, these images are not intended for exhibition purposes, but rather, as a documentation of social and casual daily happenings. This quality adds a unique and very personal attachment to the images – which Vermont Center for Photography explores in this juried exhibition.
The opening reception is on Friday, August 2, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m., during Brattleboro’s Gallery Walk. The public is welcome. The exhibit will end on Sunday, September 1. VCP is located at 49 Flat Street next to the parking garage in downtown Brattleboro, Vermont.
